Beverage makers are turning to the amino acid L-theanine, which
early research suggests may calm the brain to enhance concentration
and mental stamina.
Certain flavors of SoBe Lifewater and Vitamin
Water now contain L-theanine, as does the new beverage ViB. Now
Gatorade has introduced Tiger, named for Tiger Woods, the king of
concentration.

With 400 hp and a top speed of 171 mph, the electric race car concept pushes 1,475 lb-ft of torque up to 100 mph then drops it to 590 lb-ft for high-speed traction.
Its powered by two 30kW lithium-ion batteries charged by flexcell photovoltaic solar panels.

“There’s nothing we’ve seen so far that shows that this influenza is different than any other influenza,” said University of Washington epidemiologist Ira Longini, a nationally-recognized scholar who has made a career out of studying the flu.
“It’s just another flu virus,” Longini said.
But he added: the flu can kill.
